Classes to Resume

Dear Sangha Members,

Our kind teacher, Ven. Achok Rinpoche, will resume classes via Zoom, Monday, January 11, 2021, 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
Rinpoche will continue Chapter 6 of Candrakīrti’s text, Entering Into the Middle Way. The last verse we studied was #77.

This will be a recurring Zoom class every Monday. The class will be open at 6:45 pm, and Rinpoche will arrive at 7:00 pm.

Gadenpa Buddhist Center will send you an invitation to log onto Zoom, and hopefully you can save to your Google calendar so you get a reminder.

Lama Chopa Tsok for Je Tsongkhap Day

Dear Sangha Members,

Our kind teacher, Ven. Achok Rinpoche, would like to invite you to a scheduled Zoom meeting, on Thursday, December 10, 2020, at 3:00 pm to celebrate LamaTsongkhapa Day or Ganden Nganchoe. This day is a celebration of the anniversary of Lama Tsongkhapa’s parinirvana. Merits accumulated on this day are multiplied by 100,000, which can be further dedicated towards Buddhahood for the sake of all beings.

Dear Sangha Members,

Several weeks ago, our dear friend Miriam Miranda’s mom passed away. On Thursday, May 2, 2019, we will be celebrating the 49th day of her mother’s passing. We are starting at 10:00 am and will be reciting Lama Chopa tsok and Medicine Buddha, with a small break for lunch. All are welcome to attend.

Please let us know, as soon as possible, if you will be joining us.
