Dear Sangha Members,
Tashi Delek, again. We are aiming to try out our new system , today evening, march 17th.
Once again, if you wish to view the teaching from afar, you will need to download google plus. (It is free.)
1) To attend a teaching in this way, you need to be signed in by 6:30 pm to your google plus email account. ( see attached screen shot “A” )
2) Please hold your questions to the end when Rinpoche will ask if there are any questions.
3) PLEASE BE SURE TO TURN OFF YOUR VIDEO AND AUDIO UNTIL THE QUESTION AND ANSWER SECTION AT THE END.
4) If you have trouble with either the video or the audio, you may need to set your bandwidth lower for better quality. ( see attached screen shot B)
Also, the ideal suggested bandwidth is a minimum of 2.6 mbp’s. You may need to contact your provider to increase your capacity if you experience distortions since reception changes with the number of people who join in with the teachings.
We will send more information about the youtube capabilities as we learn more. Also, be aware that Google+ might ask you to install a plug-in especially if you are using a Mac which is necessary.

I hope every one is keeping warm in this cold weather. Our Rinpoche had been planing to start teaching on Feb 23rd, but due to a situation in California, Rinpoche will resume classes on March 2nd after he returns at the end of this month.

I would like to bring to your attention that Our Rinpoche and I will be traveling out of the country for the month of January. Therefore, there will be no classes during January.
We will be returning at the end of the month and Rinpoche will

Ven. Achok Rinpoche has agreed to Skype Monday and Tuesday night classes.
In order for you to view class, you will have to download Skype onto your computers. Once you have done that send a request to Gadenpa Buddhist Center in order to add you to group.
Please make sure that on the night of classes, your microphone and your video camera in Skype are turned off otherwise, we will be able to hear and see you on our side and it may disturb the Teaching. Skype has very simple instructions if you have a problem.
Please let us know that you have an interest in participating in group and we will look for your request.
